The Vikings are preparing to face the Saints in the Super Bowl.

But in case you were wondering, they’re not playing them in the same place.

Instead, the Vikings will be in New Orleans for the first time since the 2016 Super Bowl, playing at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The NFL announced the matchup Wednesday.

The Saints won the Superbowl last year, beating the Vikings 28-17 in Minnesota.

The Saints have won five of the last six games between the teams, with the only loss coming to the Vikings in Week 3 of last season.

But this year, the Saints lost in the second half of the NFC Championship Game.

They’re 4-7 in their last six meetings with the Vikings, including a 27-20 loss in the Minnesota Superdomes in January.

The Vikings have been on a roll since the bye week, going 10-1 in games in which they’ve played New Orleans.

They’ve outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points per game during that stretch.

In addition, they’ve outgained their opponents 2,812 to 1,933.

In their last five games against the Saints, they have outscaled their opponents 9-1.

The biggest difference this season has been the presence of quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who threw for 4,922 yards with 22 touchdowns and seven interceptions last season while also rushing for 1,863 yards and 11 touchdowns.

He’s thrown for nearly 3,000 yards in each of the past two seasons.

He has an NFL-leading 18 touchdown passes, while his team has given up a combined 13 turnovers in four games.

The other key difference this year has been a more balanced attack that includes a dynamic receiving corps led by Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen and Cordarrelle Patterson.

Minnesota has also gotten more involved in the run game, having run for a combined 667 yards and scored on 42.8 percent of its carries.

The matchup will be the first of two Super Bowl matchups this season between the Vikings and Saints.

The game will also be the Vikings’ first Super Bowl appearance since Super Bowl XXXVII.
